The Warchief product line blends the lead-like lethality of our copper-plated bismuth with an innovative, eco-conscious wad that increases performance. Buffered using a proprietary bio-based walnut shell blend and infused with BioTec’s Eco Pure for enhanced plastic biodegradation once it hits the ground. STEEL RESERVE
Steel shot and it’s crippling effects have been the subject of many discussions in duck blinds, goose pits and every where waterfowler’s congregate since the lead ban in ‘91. What is seldom talked about is HOW steel can be deployed in the field and yield lethality that is on par with superior technologies like Boss Legacy or Warchief. The solution is simple. Keep your shots over the decoys and/or inside 30 yards. 1’s for geese. 3’s for ducks. Steel always has been and always will be range limited. Steel Reserve by Boss has been specifically engineered to suit not only the budget minded hunter but also those that seldom shoot beyond 30 yards. WOLFRAM
A superior-grade copper-plated tungsten shotshell, built for maximum lethality at borderline unspeakable distances. Perfect for once-in-a-lifetime hunts, long-range-shots and clean-ups on cripples.
Wolfram, named after wolframite, the ore that is refined to manufacture Tungsten is Boss’ highest density shot offering measuring in at a whopping 18.1 g/cc.
The clean-sheet design utilizes a wad specifically designed and engineered to carry a relatively light payload of TSS shot at high velocities with virtually no recoil. This is achieved by using a collapsing “power tower” that dampens setback forces similar to crumple zones found in today’s automobiles. The wad also has the same fast opening petals and double gas seals as the Warchief wad that allows for clean, efficient powder burn and excellent pattern uniformity. The enhanced long range ballistics of TSS shot make Wolfram the ideal choice for passing shots, late season decoy weary birds and cripple clean up. 7’s for geese. 9’s for ducks. Lightly buffered to prevent the small 7 and 9 shot pellets from embedding themselves in the BioTec-infused plastic wad, Wolfram is the most lethal and highly engineered waterfowling shotshell Boss has ever offered.
